So, I always knew that as my kids got older I would no longer have to worry about falling over toys, and stepping on small pieces of Legos, Bionicles, bocks, and Littlest Pet Shop pieces. I prayed for the day that they would all outgrow the "small toys", and we could put that era behind us.

Well that time is now, and I finally got what I wanted. No small toys, no block, no Legos, no Bioncles.  No longer do small pieces of sharp objects know as toys hurt my feet. No longer do I trip in a dark room, and fall over Littlest Pet Shop homes, remote control cars, or adventure play centers.
No. Those days are gone, thank goodness.

Now I find I only have bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and roller-blades to trip over. I instead pain my tootsies in a dark room on X-box controllers, Wi remotes, and other various electronic belongings. I now cuss the makers of ear buds, pens, and art supplies. Now are the days of endless streams of “scientific experiment” in my kitchen, and “traps” laid across my living room.

I find that picking up a room in no longer as easy as it used to be either. I thought cleaning up when my kids were small was such a pain. I mean gosh throwing all the "toys" in a box seems so troublesome. Now what I wouldn’t give to be able to do that and then call it a day.

No, now I have to pick up IPods, cd's, art books, and supplies. Now I have to call the names of the owners of these new objects, and careful place these high price delicate items on shelves, in drawers, and into hand to be place among other higher priced belongings.

I guess the old say go to show that you should be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it.
